These terms apply to Asodoco, operated in Japan by the individual publisher trading as the Asodoco editorial team. By using the site, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Asodoco helps people discover events, venues and places in Japan. Listings are compiled from official or other identified sources, but dates, prices, availability and operating conditions can change. Always confirm important information with the official venue or organiser before travelling or purchasing.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address, protect your credentials and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may restrict or terminate accounts used unlawfully, abusively or in a way that threatens the service.

3. Maps, location and external services

Map positions, distances and routes are approximate and must not be relied on for safety-critical navigation. External sites, map providers and organisers have their own terms and are responsible for their content and services.

4. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, bypass access controls, scrape at a rate that harms availability, submit unlawful or misleading material, impersonate another person, or use the service to infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights.

5. Intellectual property

The site design, original text, software and editorial arrangement are protected by applicable law. Rights in venue names, event names, external images, maps and linked material remain with their respective owners. Normal personal use and linking are permitted; other reproduction requires the relevant rights holder’s permission.

6. Availability and liability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or complete accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.

7. International users, changes and law

For ordinary use in Japan to find places and events in Japan, these terms operate under Japanese law. Mere overseas accessibility or an English page does not make every foreign law apply. Where a foreign law does apply to actual activities, these terms and the choice of Japanese law do not waive mandatory consumer, privacy or other protections. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Specific rights and request channels under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or another applicable law are also described in that policy.

Material changes will be published with a new effective date. These terms are governed by Japanese law, subject to those mandatory protections. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will hear disputes.
